Non resident status

We strongly recommend that all landlords apply for the overseas exemption. It’s a very straightforward process . Non-resident landlord can apply application to have UK rental income without deduction of UK tax - individuals (NRL1) HMRC Link

Handling your taxation obligations:

  • We will pay you rent without deductions where you are Non-resident Landlord (NRL) Scheme registered.
  • We can assist you in setting up your NRL Scheme registration where you are not.
  • If applicable, we ensure the correct level of tax is deducted from your rental income.
  • If deductions can be reduced, we advise you how this can be done.
  • We pay the tax to the Inland Revenue on your behalf and report to you (if applicable).
